Glenn Sadin has been writing, recording, and performing his own original music for over 40 years, and has released records and CDs in the USA, Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. A seasoned guitarist, he has performed from Hollywood to Germany, and has shared the stage with the likes of rock’n’roll pioneer Bo Diddley, the Sun Rhythm Section (original 1950s Sun Records musicians), and garage rock legend Sky Saxon of the Seeds.
An avid record collector and vintage hi-fi & guitar enthusiast, Glenn places great emphasis on getting every period detail correct when playing 1950s music. His on-stage gear with Billy D and the Rock-its is mostly from the '50s and early '60s. In order to really nail the "correct" tone, he uses pure nickel strings on his guitars (“like they used back in the day”), and rejects modern digital signal processing, instead only using vintage vacuum tube amplification and analog effects. "Details matter!" he says, and we're sure you will agree!
